On my last trip to Europe, I visited the Manchester Art Gallery. There, I saw a retrospective on Dorothy Bohm. Her portraits of everyday life blew my mind. Later in her career she used a 35mm Nikon LF35AF1. I bought that camera on Ebay for 40 dollars, grabbed a box of film and got to it. The photos on this site are the result.
"In the photograph the child remains forever a child; laughter remains. The blossoming tree retains it's blossom. A woman picking flowers in the sunshine lives for ever. And in them, just a little, so do I." - Dorothy Bohm
